SHOPPING LIST - View, Save, Print

Here is a printable shopping list I have created. Click here to go to the PDF of this form. From there, you can view, save to your computer and print. As you can see, it is organized into groups: Produce, Meat, Frozen, Deli/Dairy, Toiletries, Cleaning, etc.

This is a screen shot of a portion of the form:

Use this form to make shopping easier. Just print it out, post it in the kitchen and put a check mark next to each item you need. By the time you go to the store, your list is complete. I left some blank lines for you to fill in and an entire column where you can add other errands or notes.

The printed form is 8.5 x 11 inches and formatted to print in black. If you have any trouble viewing or printing this form, please let me know and I will be happy to email a file directly to you.

If you are comfortable using a spreadsheet or word processing program, you can create a printable shopping list for yourself, if not, just use this one.

When I shop, I look through the grocery store sales flyers that come in the mail. Where I live the sales start on Wednesday and end on Tuesday. I clip coupons from the Sunday newspaper and try to match the sales items with my coupons. I mark up my shopping list from the sales and the coupons, adding any other items I need. And finally, armed with my re-usable shopping bags, I hit the stores!

If you take just a little time to plan your shopping trips, you will benefit:

  • save money
  • save time
  • no more wasted food
  • enjoy products in season
  • and at the peak of flavor
  • your menu for the week is clearly laid out

Just think, no more standing in front of the refrigerator on Wednesday night hoping the Food Fairy left you a complete dinner! Now you can plan ahead, save money and enjoy fresh food you prepared yourself!
